n a night filled with treats, Vampire Weekend refused to be be left out of the festivities.  The afro-pop “colonialists” took to Jimmy Kimmel Live! — which was taping in Brooklyn, N.Y. — to debut a new track titled “Unbelievers.”  (via CoS – who always have this late night stuff ready in the morning)

Complete with facepaint, the band — augmented by an expanded lineup that included a three-piece horn sections and cellist — worked through the joyous, nearly four-miute tune.  If fans were less than thrilled with the “new stuff,” the band happily obliged their tried and true with a performance of “Oxford Comma” from their 2008 self-titiled debut.
