WATCH: St. Pete Beat No. 31 (Feat. Jane Jane Pollock at Ramblin’ Rosie’s 1-year anniversary)

Celebrating anniversaries is fun.  Believe us.  Last weekend, the good people at St. Petersburg, Fla.’s Ramblin’ Rose Upcycle celebrated their first year on The 600 Block by hosting quite the soiree (you can’t say we didn’t tell you about it).

On hand to help then commemorate the occasion were scores of devoted locals and a handful of talented musicians including Jane Jane Pollock who had a portion of their performance captured to Ryan Zarra’s digital film in form of St. Pete Beat No. 31.  The nearly six-minute clip is easily as the trippiest session yet and finds the NoFla-based outfit bathed in incandescent green light whilst drafting a sonic masterpiece rife with whirring keys, sparse drumming, and chimes.
