SERIOUSLY?: Shark spotted swimming down Bayshore Boulevard

Image via Instragram (@RyanOrion)
UPDATE: In an email to SubAp! Ryan Littler — who lives in Downtown Tampa’s Channelside District — explained that he posted the original photo to his company’s Facebook page this morning. Littler, 22, wants to let “the internet debate whether it’s real or not.”
The weather obviously blows today, and there are a ton of photos floating around that showcase tropical storm Debby’s wrath. Some are gloomy, others hilarious, but this one takes the “WTF?!” award for sure. It comes from Instragram user @RyanOrion who posted the shot around 1:38 p.m. EDT.
The shot shows a flooded Bayshore Boulevard (which is plausible considering the numerous visual reports), but what’s hilarious/implausible is the silhouette of what looks like a shark swimming eastbound towards downtown. Now we’re not sure what that “shark” wants (maybe a coffee from Cafe Hey to warm him up?), but we think the shot is hilarious.
Before anyone gets alarmed, we have put in requests to speak with @RyanOrion and an inquiry with the Florida Aquarium’s shark expert — Eric Hovalnd — is currently awaiting a response. We’ll keep you updated, but in the meantime enjoy spreading this one around. Happy rainy day y’alls.

while hilarious, its the same fake shark used in this picture: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/blogpost/post/hurricane-irene-photo-of-shark-swimming-in-street-is-fake/2011/08/26/gIQABHAvfJ_blog.html

Everyone should stop in at Cafe Hey for a java and sandwich!
