LOOK: REV25 NYC Photo Review aka Revelation Records 25th Anniversary Shows, Irving Plaza October 10-14, 2012
In June, I went to Rev25 in California knowing full well that it was likely New York shows would be announced shortly thereafter with different yet overlapping line-ups. And happily, the New York Revelation Records 25th Anniversary Shows at Irving Plaza, along with a pre-show at St. Vitus, featured a fantastic line-up of Battery, Bold, Chain Of Strength, Damnation A.D., Gameface, Into Another, Mouthpiece, On The Might Of Princes, Popeye, Shades Apart, Shai Hulud, Shook Ones, Sick Of It All, Supertouch, Texas Is The Reason, Underdog and Youth Of Today.
Of course, I loved seeing the bands at REV25 but even better was connecting with my old hardcore friends. It’s sappy but my hardcore friends still look out for me like family and me for them. Thanks to Jordan Cooper, Chris Lisk, Revelation Records and all the bands for an amazing extended weekend overflowing with hardcore & friends.
