Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, Bon Iver, The Beach Boys The Shins, Skrillex lead Bonnaroo 2012 lineup

Bonnaroo is one festival that carries on the spirit of Woodstock; four days and nights of music, lights and laughter among sprawling campgrounds and new friends. In the spirit of love Valentine’s Day has become Bonnaroo’s annual line-up drop date.

This year, festival promoters Superfly Productions and AC Entertainment (http://acentertainment.com/) have partnered with Spotify to release the line-up as a playlist featuring this years artists.

Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is once again taking place on several hundred rural acres in Manchester, TN June 7-10, 2012, and Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, Bon Iver, The Beach Boys, Skrillex, and The Shins lead the initial lineup.

The Avett Brothers, The Shins, Foster The People, Skrillex, Aziz Ansari, Dispatch, Feist, The Roots, Alice Cooper, SuperJam, , and Black Star round out the lineup while even more artists like Childish Gambino, Major Lazer, tUnE-yArDs, Afrocubism, Flying Lotus, Umphrey’s McGee, Little Dragon, St. Vincent, City and Colour, The Civil Wars, Young The Giant, Two Door Cinema Club, Punch Brothers populate the rest of the wunderbill.

Also set to play are The Word featuring John Medeski, Robert Randolph and North Mississippi Allstars, Ludacris, Ben Folds Five, Flogging Molly, Spectrum Road featuring Cindy Blackman Santana, Jack Bruce, John, Medeski, and Vernon Reid, Mac Miller, NEEDTOBREATHE, Fitz & The Tantrums, Bad Brains, Yelawolf, Dawes, Battles, Danny Brown, The Black Lips, SBTRKT, Phantogram, Kendrick Lamar, Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires, The Kooks, The Joy Formidable, The Antlers, Kathleen Edwards, Mimosa, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Alabama Shakes, Das Racist, Delta Spirit, and Gary Clark Jr.

Holiday pre-sale tickets sold-out quickly, and more tickets are released throughout the year at multiple price levels. Level 3 general admission tickets starting at $234.50 will go on sale soon at Bonnaroo’s official website.
