Look: Saints and Sinners Art Show – 04.09.11 – The 600 Block

If you were anywhere near the 600 Block on Saturday Night (04.09.11), you could feel a lot of motion down the St. Petersburg streets. The 600 Block’s “After Dark” series was in full swing, fashion walks were springing up from the Arcade, live shows were happening at local venues like the Local 662 and FUBAR, and Sake Bomb was slammed for their “for real” Grand Opening. Even with all this going on,  the eager public flocked into Pale Horse Graphic Design and Gallery to take part in the viewing of Chris Parks’ 12-skateboard depiction of the Last Supper, which measures in at 10 feet by 3 feet. Just check out the pictures below to see why.

Ok, quick review of the show…  Chris’ work is always sick and well conceptualized, the cookies were unbelievable (for real), the PBR was cold, the crowd was rad, and the bathroom was clean.  I’d say that’s a win. But seriously check out the photos, they really tell the whole story.
