Fela Anikulapo Kuti‘s influence is immeasurable. The Nigerian-born Afrobeat pioneer better known more simply as “Fela” only lived to be 58-years-old, but his fusion of jazz, funk, and psychedelia with traditional african music is still prevalent today. Last night, the Ol’ Dirty Sundays camp paid tribute to Fela within the friendly confines of the courtyard at Crowbar in Ybor City, Fla..
