Cafe Hey has hosted several Proper Dinners but this was the first dinner featuring all vegan cuisine with many locally sourced ingredients from the Suncoast Food Alliance and Tampa Heights Community Garden. The Vegan Proper Dinner featured the following delightful courses:

Fried Okra Crudités

Chilled Cashew and Butternut Squash Soup garnished with a Cherry (Tomato) on top!

Eggplant Ravioli with Caramelized Florida Onions & Smoked Golden Tomato, Greens & Raw Squash Terrine

Local Herb and Fruit Sorbets: Beet, Lychee & Korean Melon

Proper Dinner also featured special beverages including Vino Fresca- a fresh take on a wine cooler – and non-alcoholic Birch Beer. There was also a special Zucchini Heart:
