If you haven’t noticed it yet (for shame), there is a music feed on the left hand site of the homepage of very website that you’re trolling right now.  That feed comes courtesy of the good boys and girls who claim Thee Liquid Jesus camp.  The collective of music lovers literally listen to new music incessantly, and unlike your hermit-recluse stepbrothers and stepsisters, they actually share it via their blog.

They also take it a step further by queueing up all of their favorite tracks in person every Thursday night at The Bricks in Ybor City, Fla.  (Mes McDonald — who moonlights as Chris Wood from time to time — also puts on Czar’s Radio Free monthly).  Every now and then the LJ peeps put together mixtapes so that you don’t have to worry about what to listen to on your car rides, runs, or marathon/5-minute intercourse sessions.

Available below are the last two mixtapes from the collective.  First, is the latest (3:02) compiled by  Thee Jésus himself and second is a mixtape (3:01) artfully strewn together by the aforementioned Mes.  Together, the two compilations contain tracks from a host of artists including Mexicans With Guns, The XX, EL-P, KAIL, Purity Ring, Grimes, GZUS, Tori Y Moi, and even Nicki Minaj (don’t hate!).
