Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls are touring on their brand new stellar record, Tape Deck Heart, which is available here (my favorite tracks are “The Way I Tend To Be” and predictably, “Polaroid Picture”). Florida isn’t on the summer tour schedule so we decided to take a trip to the Jersey Shore to see Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls play the historic Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Good move because not only did we get a stellar show, we also got a delicious Korean tacos on the boardwalk. The set list is (here) and included a perfect surprise cover of Springsteen’s “Born To Run” (video from sikkbrosteve here).
Check out more photos from Frank Turner’s set in the gallery below (or directly on flickr here) and photos from Frank and Matt’s in-store performance at Vintage Vinyl earlier in the afternoon here. We’ll let you know as soon as the fall tour dates are out so you can start planning!
Hailing from Kansas City, MO, The Architects rocked their way into new hearts with a literally explosive set.

Beans On Toast
Beans On Toast is on his first U.S. tour and is connecting quickly with his acerbic wit. I look forward to seeing him more on these shores.
