Cults, Grimes + more announced for Orange You Glad Music Festival 2012

The 2012 edition of the Orange You Glad Music Festival has announced the lineup, and it looks as if the three-day Orlando-based festivus is pulling no punches in its third year. Set to take place from March 8-11, Orange You Glad has tapped Cults and and furry comedy troupe Everything Is Terrible to headline the celebration. A pre-party on March 7 features Grimes and Born Gold playing Backbooth.
Venues include (but won’t be limited to) The Plaza Live, Backbooth, Will’s Pub, Wally’s Lot, Stardust, Peacock Room, Park Ave. CDs, Uncle Lou’s, and Lil’ Indies, so attendees will find themselves smearing their cultural palette with a wide range of the Orlando music scene’s offered flavors.
Also included on the bill of more than 60 acts are Moodrings, Jane Jane Pollack, Saskatchewan, The Pauses, Great Deceivers, Go Rydell, How Dare You, Hear Hums, Basements of Florida, Mr. Pussy, Flashlights, Larf, Wet Nurse, Roadkill Ghost Choir, Maximino, Loud Valley, and Out Go The Lights. What’s more is that your can get all that on the cheap.
Easily one of the best values in Florida, weekend passes (which are actually good for four days) are only $25 and are up for grabs on Friday December 16. Individual day passes will also be available for purchase and can be had via TicketFly or in person at Park Ave. CDs.
More information on the event is available at its official website, and ticketing information can be had here. More details as they become available.
