As the rest of the world becomes completely enamored with electronic dance music (and more specifically “dubstep”) Jason Feder — aka Turbo Tuesday’s Subpirate — has announced a new “monthly education session” that kicks off on Thursday June 28.  The event — dubbed “Trap Snacks” — will take place at Fubar in St. Petersburg Fla. and looks to be an exploration of post-dubstep bass music.

“We’re looking to promote a more refined sound,” Feder told SubAp! in a recent email, ” and not so much of the loud, brash sounds [that have taken over] popular EDM over the past few years — Trap Snacks  is going to be about bass music as a whole with many different genres, not just trap.

On board to help man the ship for the event will be Turbo Tuesday resident Sidedraft as well as Tampa, Fla.-based DJ/producer Christy Miller — aka CJ Milli — and former Ol’ Dirty Sundays resident DJ Mega.  Get more information on the event at our calendar page.
