Side projects are great. There’s an infinite amount of music living within any individual at any given time, and while not everyone can actually articulate that potential musically, other seem to be bursting at the seams. That may or may not be the case with Marksmen’s Reed Murray, but the latest track from his “Carrollhood” project is most definitely worth a listen.
Clocking in at almost six minutes, the track — “Afraid” — lends itself plenty of time to unfold amidst its vocals (hushed & layered in the beginning and screamed throughout the rest of the cut) synthesizers, and propulsive rhythm track. Check it out below.
